Network and Network Security Architecture

Overview

The ITS Network and Security Architecture team is responsible for the network and data communications requirements of the University of California San Francisco. This includes envisioning, proposing, and managing university wide projects; planning for expansion to support new data services, systems, and increased utilization; implementing infrastructure to meet university needs as well as policy, and legislative requirements for data and system protection; investigation and evaluation of new technologies; setting standards for operation and service levels; and providing tier three support of network issues escalated from the Network Operations team.
