With data security being a major priority, UCSF is updating the policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the mandatory requirements set by the Payment Card Industry - Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).
Your Role Ensuring UCSF Meets PCI-DSS
If your department is processing credit card transactions, please contact the Payment Card Industry (PCI) internal team, which oversees and manages the University’s credit card transactions, immediately at askPCI@ucsf.edu, to obtain the new policies and procedures.
Going forward, if your department wants to establish a new method of accepting credit cards or make changes to existing payment methods, please contact the PCI workgroup to obtain pre-authorization prior to change or implementation.
