Updating your password in Outlook (Windows)
In order to clear all your saved passwords from your PC, you need to open up the "Credential Manager" in Windows. Once you have cleared the passwords stored in Windows, you will be able to relaunch Outlook and log into the application with your newly created password.
To do this, please follow the steps below:
To open Windows Credential Manager, Open Control Panel and search for "Credential Manager".
Open Credential Manager and check if there’s a password saved using your Active Directory account.
(Box Sync, Outlook, Exchange Online, etc.)
Anything with “Domain\Username” or First.Last@ucsf.edu will need to be changed.
Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016
After clearing the password in Credential Manager in the previous steps. Please close Outlook and relaunch. You will be prompted to input your password. Please input your password and check "Remember my credentials"
