IT Field Services can provide conference and special event support at our hourly project rate of $79/staff-hour. This includes setup and tear-down, wired and wireless network support, and hands-on support. Event support charges apply when the majority of attendees are not supported by ITFS. This service requires at least 2 weeks advance notice, and is contingent upon the availability of ITFS staff and resources. After-hours and off-campus events – those taking place before 7 AM or after 6 PM, or at a non-UCSF location – are charged time and a half (e.g., if the event takes 4 hours, you will be charged for 6 hours).
Hourly charges require prior authorization from your department.
