Travel Support - On the Road
UCSF staff and personel that often travel sometimes find it difficult to perform job duties and keep in contact with their UCSF work.
A stable network connection is necessary to connect to any UCSF resources and it is typically imperative that if access to the Campus network is necessary to access any applications or systems, that the traveler be connected to VPN. Information on the VPN service can be found here.
Prior to departure, it is recommeded that the desired device be tested by the user's local dektop support group to ensure no obstacles while traveling.
The UCSF IT Service Desk is available 24/7 to assist customers in accessing their VPN accounts if problems arise.
