Reason

The ITFS Engineering Team will installing SEP 12.1.4 on ITFS supported Windows workstations that require it and on computers that are running older versions. Please note that this only affects Windows workstations that have Tivoli Endoint Management/BigFix installed. More information: http://it.ucsf.edu/services/symantec-endpoint-protection-sep

Impact

Customers will need to reboot their workstations within 24 hours in order to complete the installation of the software. If the workstation is offline or powered off, the software will be installed the next time the workstation is powered on and/or connected to the network within the dates above. Once the software installation completes, you will be notified by the following Tivoli popup asking you to “Take Action” to reboot your workstation.
