Scheduled Maintenance: Campus Wireless Network – 1855 Folsom Street (Mission Center Building)

In an effort to evaluate and improve the quality of wireless services being provided to the Mission Center Building customers, the IT Network Team will be conducting signal testing surveys throughout the building. The surveys are intended to identify any areas where the wireless service requires some degree of remediation work. Typically this type of work would entail relocating wireless access points in the ceiling or, in some cases, installing cable and additional access points. It is their intent to minimize any disruption to customers while they work to improve the quality of wireless services throughout the building.
During this scheduled timeframe, customers may experience an intermittent 15 minute interruption to their wireless network service. The wired network services will not be impacted.
