The root cause is under investigation by IT.
The Employee Self-Service Portal (help.ucsf.edu) and Medical Center Facility Self-Service Portal (sshelp.ucsf.edu) were inaccessible. As a workaround, customers were advised to use the direct link https://ucsf.service-now.com/ess or https://ucsf.service-now.com/fss/ to submit tickets.
IT corrected a firewall issue to restore web services on the affected websites.
