Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) is Now Available for UCSF IT Team Members!

For UCSF IT team members there’s a new Gartner resource now available via the Gartner Research Portal page. This tool, called Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) research, offers tactical advice that comes in the form of written reports on technology solutions, vendor evaluation criteria (RFP content) and vendor specific product assessments, decision frameworks, project solution paths and technical architecture diagrams.

With this new tool, IT team members will have detailed research for every phase of the project, including:

New Research. Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) is tactical, “how to” advice on technology, RFP evaluations, architecture, best practices, etc. Formerly known as “The Burton Group,” GTP provides deep technical insight and advice on the following areas:

Gartner Peer Connect. Connect, collaborate and share real-world advice with peers in Gartner Peer Connect. Gartner’s Peer app also has product reviews – written by other members, and available for your use.
