VPN Update: Decommissioning Cisco VPN and Juniper Network Connect (vpn.ucsf.edu)
Starting on Monday, August 31, 2015, all UCSF remote users should use remote.ucsf.edu or Junos Pulse because the Cisco VPN and Juniper VPN (Network Connect and vpn.ucsf.edu) servers will be decommissioned and no longer available.
While most of the UCSF IT managed computers already have the new software installed, those who do not not see the Junos Pulse icon on your desktop may install it from http;//software.ucsf.edu, and/or bookmark the new VPN web address: https://remote.ucsf.edu
Users who log onto Network Connect and/or vpn.ucsf.edu will receive an automatic message asking them to re-route to the new Junos Pulse client (/services/vpn).
Please note that all Linux uses will continue to use vpn.ucsf.edu until further notice.
