The Web EDB Update is a Payroll and Personnel application that provides a web interface to the mainframe payroll system. This simplifies the processing of EDB transactions.
The system interfaces with the current EDB process in real time. However, it is available only when the mainframe system is available.
Transactions processed using the Web Update system appear as soon as the transactions are updated. They appear in:
- EDB Inquiry Screens
- EDB Entry/Update screens
- Web EDB Inquiry
The application also provides printing capability. This allows users to print IDOCs without needing to use networked printers.
Using Web EDB Update
Employees with EDB Entry/Update Access are automatically granted permission to Web EDB Update. To request access to this service, contact your department Access Administrator or Business Officer.
Web EDB Update login
Web EDB Update is available within the UCSF Internal network.
Web EDB Update is compatible with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari browsers.
Customer Support for Web EDB Update is available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
