ITS will upgrade the existing VMware vCenter ESXi hosts.


During this change window all virtual machines will continue to run normally. Access to the vCenter console will be unavailable on Saturday, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. If you have concerns about this maintenance work and its impact on your business operations, or experience service interruptions outside the announced period, please contact the UCSF IT Service Desk at 415-514-4100.

If you need to access a virtual machine you can do so via SSH or RDP. Post upgrade when you first attempt to connect you will be prompted to upgrade your client. Accept all defaults and install the new client to access.
