WHAT HAPPENED? 

The Sudo site released an advisory addressing a vulnerability in sudo.

AFFECTED SYSTEMS: 

• Sudo versions 1.8.2 through 1.8.31p2 and 1.9.0 through 1.9.5p1   

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? 

A local user may be able to exploit this vulnerability to elevate privileges to root.  

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO 

Check your vendor for updates on affected versions of sudo.
