The Developer Experience (DevEx) Team helps teams at UCSF build and deliver software more effectively. Our work spans the platforms that support development as well as the product experience that shapes how people interact with the tools and services.Through platform support and developer tooling, we help teams build faster and more reliably by improving workflows, strengthening engineering practices, and supporting the systems that power software delivery across UCSF.Alongside that work, DevEx also provides product experience support through user experience (UX) research, information architecture, usability evaluation, and design. By partnering with teams early and often, we help clarify user needs, structure information in ways that make sense to users, and translate those insights into interfaces and workflows that are clear, usable, and effective. At the heart of it all is a shared goal: reducing friction for the people building software and for the people using it.
