Cisco has released an update to address Critical vulnerabilities in the web-based management interface of the Cisco Catalyst Passive Optical Network (PON) Series Switches Optical Network Terminal (ONT). This update protects against a remote attacker exploiting some of these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary commands.
