- Audience: Faculty, New Hire, Staff
- Service Category: Desktop Support
- Owner Team: IT Desktop Engineering
As of Tuesday, September 26, 2023, IT Field Services (ITFS) is distributing upgrade notifications to all ITFS-managed Macs with Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 installed, starting with Macs.
Alternatively, you may also click here, if your Mac is properly enrolled and managed by UCSF IT, to manually download and install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from our Jamf Self Service app portal.
For Windows users, this software is also available in BigFix Offer labeled "UCSF - Adobe Acrobat Pro (Windows) 2023 - New Install".
How to activate Acrobat Pro DC
When launching Acrobat Pro DC on your computer for the first time following installation, follow these steps to claim your Acrobat Pro DC licenses if provided from ITFS or your UCSF department:
- When prompted to sign-in with this screen in Acrobat Pro DC, enter your UCSF email address, then click Continue.
- If prompted to select an account, choose Company or School Account.
- Then sign in to your UCSF MyAccess account. Duo authentication is required if your computer is not connected to UCSF's internal network.
Additional Information:
- All ITFS-supported users who are properly registered users of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 on ITFS-managed computers are automatically granted with Acrobat Pro DC user accounts to activate via UCSF MyAccess.
- You may activate Adobe Acrobat Pro DC with your UCSF MyAccess account on up to two computers.
- You do not need to create an Adobe account for activation. If your UCSF MyAccess account isn't activating this new version of Acrobat, follow the instructions below to open an IT request and we'll investigate why your account wasn't pre-added during our upgrade preparation work.
