Vulnerabilities in macOS Ventura

Apple has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in macOS Ventura. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities can lead to arbitrary code execution, information disclosure, denial-of-service (DoS), file system modifications, security bypasses, and privilege escalation.

For a complete description of the vulnerabilities and affected systems go to About the security content of macOS Ventura 1.

To protect yourself, update your software. If you are testing software with macOS Ventura beta or release candidate (RC) at UCSF and authorized to do so, we still recommend installing the latest released updates for macOS Ventura from Apple.  Please note that Ventura is not yet supported by UCSF IT.
