Vulnerability in the TIPC Module of the Linux Kernel

 

Linux released a patch for an old vulnerability in the TIPC module of the Linux kernel.  The vulnerability is a stack buffer overflow, found in the kernel networking module for the Transparent Inter-Process Communication (TIPC) protocol.
