Identity Management
- General contact information (Your preferred first name, phone, address, and other identity information) can be modified at directory.ucsf.edu. If you need to update any identity information that is unavailable at directory.ucsf.edu, please speak to Human Resources, your supervisor/manager, or department contact that is responsible for maintaining identity information.

Departmental Share Drives:
- How to request access:
- Access to departmental share drives is under the purview of each individual department. To request access to a specific department share, please speak to your supervisor, manager, or other UCSF department contact or administrator so they can submit the appropriate request for access.
HBS
- HBS (Huntington Business Systems), is an online time and attendance system. It is used by all academic and administrative staff (exempt and non-exempt employees) who earn leave. Information about HBS can be found at https://it.ucsf.edu/service/hbs-timekeeping-system.
- Note - access to HBS is granted to all UCSF staff automatically. At times, newly onboarded staff members may not have immediate access to HBS upon their matriculation with UCSF. Please speak to your supervisor, manager, or appropriate departmental administrator if you are unable to access HBS.
