Identity Management is refers to the systems that manage your contact information as well as the processes for requesting access to Campus and Medical Center systems.
Your general contact information (e.g., Preferred first name, phone, address, and other identity information) is presented within the UCSF Directory.
If you need to update any identity information that is unavailable at directory.ucsf.edu, please speak to Human Resources, your supervisor/manager, or department contact that is responsible for maintaining identity information.
General requests for additional access and where/how to request additional access can be found on the campus or medical center account request forms.
NOTE: In most cases please allow up to one week following initial account creation for access to several of the linked UCSF services (example: HBS, UC Learning, etc.)
University policy on ID Cards requires all UCSF staff, students, faculty, and affiliates to help maintain the safety of UCSF premises by using and displaying their UCSF ID badges. The WeID badge system helps verify identification and ensure access only to authorized members of the UCSF community.
