UCSF's annual password change policy requires all users utilizing UCSF resources to change their network password at least once a year.
The Password Management Tool is a resource to manage your UCSF password and security questions as well as unlock your account either on the web or a mobile device. To simplify the processes, UCSF IT has implemented WalkMe within the Password Management Tool to assist you every step of the way!
WalkMe is a digital adoption platform that provides training materials within the Password Management Tool. There is no setup required to use WalkMe, if you have a workstation managed by UCSF IT, the WalkMe browser extension is deployed automatically to Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Simply select the purple WalkMe button to receive assistance with changing your UCSF password, unlocking your account as well as updating your security questions or adding/ removing mobile devices within the Password Management Tool.
