CrashPlan Is Now Available At No Cost

Are your stressed about losing data? The IT Operating Model has funded CrashPlan for all!

CrashPlan is a backup service that protects your data by performing a complete and continuous backup of your computer. It allows you to take control of your own backups, accessing your data anytime using your desktop application or a web browser.

It can recover one or all files from a device in minutes in the event of file corruption, device failure or simple human error.

IT Field Services (ITFS) customers are already covered with their subscription and do not need to take any action. If you are not an ITFS customer, and want to obtain CrashPlan to backup your UCSF owned laptop or desktop computer, please submit the following form: CrashPlan Request form in ServiceNow.

Visit the CrashPlan service page (MyAccess login required) to learn more.
