Staff Resource Days was founded by the Office of Diversity and Outreach and is sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Outreach, Campus Life Services, Human Resources, and the Staff Subcommittee for the Council on Campus Climate, Culture and Inclusion (4CI).

During the recent in-person Staff Resource Day held at Mission Bay, IT staff provided eager attendees with quick tip flyers designed to provide practical and easy-to-read accessibility tips.

These flyers, which were available in print format during the event, contain valuable accessibility insights. They aim to ensure that all staff can benefit from the practical advice shared. Staff were on hand to answer questions attendees had about the flyers and the guiding principles of digital accessibility.

The content provides quick accessibility tips when using PDF and PowerPoint media to improve accessibility within the workplace, reflecting UCSF's commitment to fostering an inclusive environment. Attendees were curious and inquisitive. Overall, they appreciated having the quick tips to help them design with accessibility in mind.

The distribution of these flyers is part of a broader initiative to provide ongoing support and resources to all employees, ensuring they have the tools necessary to create accessible online content.

Staff members who missed this event are encouraged to visit the Getting Started with Digital Accessibility page for more useful information. To download these flyers, please see the links in the section below.
