This KB article describes the steps to create a non-conforming or "IOT (Other)" CI record (configuration item) in the ServiceNow cmdb (configuration management database). IOT (Other) class is generally intended to be used to store IoT devices that do not fall in any of the other available category such as computer, server, printer, storage, or network gear, i.e., controller for programming and controlling elevator cars.
