IT Portfolio Management

The IT Portfolio Management team supports UCSF and UCSF Health by ensuring we are doing the right IT projects at the right time. We support intake, prioritization, and activation of IT work to deliver business outcomes and advance strategic goals, ensuring resource availability and enabling data-driven decision making. IT Portfolio Management team's project request process supports UCSF strategy deployment by ensuring that we accurately capture and understand all technology requests so that we can ensure timely interaction with requesting departments, connect the requests to our strategic plan, and ensure requests are attributed to the appropriate portfolio category in support of prioritization and sequencing activities.
