The Information Technology (IT) website is your one-stop IT shop to gain access, get help and find services to make your job easier. This site is a collaborative effort from campus-wide IT partners (for more about IT partnerships, check out the About Us page).

Here’s your quick-view tour of the new site – valuable content, organized by what’s important and relevant to you. 

Status 

Quickly identify important outages (name, date, impact tier) in several handy Status locations: 

  1. Homepage banners: Color-coded to indicate the type of outage (planned, in-progress, resolved) with an expandable menu for more information and click-through for full details.

  1. Homepage status block: Indicates the status type, the Service or Application impacted and the current status, with click-through for more information. 

  1. Top-level site navigation “Status”: Clicking this Status will deliver a comprehensive Status landing page where you can search and filter to define the Status alerts most important to you.

Services 

Services includes the full UCSF IT portfolio, from A-Z: All the applications and tools you need to make work happen. 

  • Use Search to quickly ID and click-through to a specific Service.

  • Use the Search A-Z list for a quick alphabetical scan. 

  • Access IT Service information via the Service categories (familied IT offerings).

The new IT.ucsf.edu is chock-full of up-to-date, relevant content. Log in via MyAccess for the most robust, inclusive and, eventually, personalized experience. Log in via the top right-hand Log In navigation item.

Search 

Get to what you need via super-speedy on-site Search. 

  • It’s always present in the top right-hand corner. 

  • Then there's the omnipresent mid-page Search bar on the homepage. 

  • And look for in-section Search in both Services and How-to.

Popular services 

Just click 'n' go for quick-list access to IT’s most popular services. This service list will eventually include your personalized list of favorites.
