Cisco Jabber UC Training: Presence and Notifications
The Cisco Jabber UC client will show you when contacts are Available and Away as well as Do Not Disturb information, just as with any other instant messaging client.

Type in your email username (FirstInitialLastname or LastnameFirstInitial), e.g., username@ucsf.edu, and then type in your email password before clicking the Sign In button. NOTE: If you sign out from Jabber client after a successful login, it remembers your username in its cache. The next time you sign in, you should only need to enter your email password.

Computer Labs and Printing
Several computer labs and study spaces are run by UCSF Library and shared amongst all learners at UCSF. To print from campus computers, you must first open a printing account. Your account is debited automatically for each page you print. Opening a printing account is optional, and you can do so at any time.

UCSF uses Microsoft Exchange as its email and calendar service. It can be accessed from any browser by going to: https://email.ucsf.edu. Requires two-factor authentication if off-campus.You can use desktop email clients such as Outlook and Apple Mail. Requires VPN connection if off-campus.
