Microsoft released its October Security Updates to address Critical, 0-day, and other vulnerabilities in multiple Microsoft products. An attacker can exploit some of these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.

Google released its October Android update to address High and Other vulnerabilities in Android devices. The most severe of these issues is a high security vulnerability in the System component that could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed.

Apple has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in Apple iOS and iPadOS. Audio messages in Messages may be able to capture a few seconds of audio before the microphone indicator is activated. 

Cisco has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in multiple Cisco Products.
