Box: Secure Folder
Description Every file inside a secure folder smaller than 400MB will be encrypted by the CipherCloud server. A secure folder provides a way to encrypt sensitive data that does not fall into the category of easily recognized UCSF PHI. Examples include UCSF PHI images, audio files, video files and sensitive data that is not UCSF PHI.

But if you send that PDF document via email or put it on a website, it becomes a digital document. That PDF is now subject to the same accessibility standards as all digital documents at UCSF.

Box Sync
Overview Box Sync is an application that lets you access folders and content offline. All synced folders are stored locally on the hard drive as well as in Box. Box Sync is great for streamlining workflows, but it does consume local storage. For this reason, you should sync only the folders and content you work with on a daily basis.
