How to access
AV services are available to departments and individuals across UCSF locations.
To request AV services or support:
- Get Help with Malfunctioning Audio Video Equipment
- Submit an AV Room Project Request for new installations or upgrades
- Submit an AV Event Support Request for live event assistance

Description
AV services support conference rooms, event spaces, and hybrid collaboration environments across UCSF locations. Whether you are planning an AV room installation, hosting an event, or need help using Zoom or Teams in a conference room, this page will guide you to the right resources and request forms.
NOTE: Classroom spaces are managed and supported by Educational Technology Services.
UCSF AV Services provides support for:
- Conference room AV systems (displays, cameras, microphones)
- Hybrid meeting platforms (Zoom)
- Event AV support (presentations, town halls, hybrid events, online only events)
- AV consultation, design, and installation for new and renovated spaces

AV Room Project Requests
The AV team is ready to help you with AV design, installation, or upgrades for your conference rooms, training centers, or specialty spaces. Depending on the project size and scope we may use outside integrators or if smaller, we can install internally.
Services Provided:
- New AV installations
- Room upgrades or standardization
- Renovation projects involving AV
- Consultation on AV design standards
Departments are responsible for:
- Funding AV projects (unless centrally accessible and/or funded)
- Scheduling and managing rooms (Zoom Workplaces, Outlook, EMS)
- Basic in-room usage for regular meetings
AV/IT teams are responsible for:
- Design standards
- Consulting with Integrators on larger projects
- Installation and configuration of smaller spaces
- Tier 2/3 support and issues escalation
