How to access

A UCSF email account (@ucsf.edu) is not required to obtain a UCSF voicemail account. However, it is strongly recommended, as Unity Connection uses email to deliver voicemail messages as audio files. This allows users to access voicemails directly from their inbox instead of checking messages on a phone or relying on a phone's voicemail indicator light.

To request voicemail, or if you have any questions about your voicemail account, contact the Service Desk at 415-514-4100 or submit a request online at https://ucsf.service-now.com/ess/ and use these steps:

  • Order Specific IT Services
  • Select Voice, Video & Pager Services
  • Change Voicemail or Caller ID or Telephone Feature
