Cisco Phone Connection Error Affecting UCSF Call Centers

The network issues were resolved, restoring all phone services.

System: Cisco Phones 

Estimated Time of Repair: Under Investigation by IT 

Reason: A network issue caused a general outage with some UCSF Cisco Phones and Jabber.  This was also preventing some UCSF Call Centers – including the IT Service Desk – from being able to receive inbound customer phone calls. 

Impact: Some customers may be unable to use their Cisco Phones or Jabber and some UCSF call centers are unable to receive inbound phone calls. To get IT support please contact the IT Service Desk by visiting help.ucsf.edu (https://ucsf.service-now.com/ucsfit) and submitting a get help ticket or opening a live Service Desk agent support chat.
