On Friday, October 6, the Research Analysis Environment (RAE) will be taken offline to perform planned upgrades to its core infrastructure. The system will be offline and unavailable from 6:00pm (Pacific) on Friday, October 6 through 8:00am (Pacific) on Monday, October 9.

During the maintenance window the system will be offline. On October 6 at 6pm Pacific:

• Logins will be disabled.
• Users who are currently active will be logged out. 
• Jobs currently running in the RAE environment will be stopped.

This is a routine upgrade to maintain RAE's security and stability, and enables the system to continue to operate within our NIST 800-171 and UCOP IS-3 compliance requirements. We will send additional communications in advance of this planned downtime as a reminder and to provide additional details if necessary.
