The content of the UCSF Information Technology website is a collaborative effort from campus-wide IT partners.  

IT Communications and the Web Services team are in the process of making it easier for you to find the information you are looking for and get the help you need via the UCSF IT website homepage.

Here are some highlights of what you’ll find on the improved homepage:

Status

Quickly identify important outages (name, date, impact tier) in several handy Status  locations:  

  • Homepage banners: Color-coded to indicate the type of outage (planned, in-progress, resolved) with an expandable menu for more information and click-through for full details. 
  • Homepage status block: Indicates the status type, the Service or Application impacted and the current status, with click-through for more information.  
  • Top-level site navigation “Status”: Clicking this Status will deliver a comprehensive Status landing page where you can search and filter to define the Status alerts most important to you.  

IT Quick Links 

Find information quickly about the applications and services you use most frequently.   

Search UCSF IT 

Quickly search for what you need by entering your search terms. It’s always present in the top right-hand corner. Then there's the omnipresent mid-page Search bar on the homepage. And look for in-section Search in both Services and How-to. 

Get Help 

Chat with the Service Desk, submit a ticket, or call 24/7.
