On July 14, the Box for Outlook feature was enabled to provide users with the ability to save email message content and attachments directly to Box from within Outlook. As part of this implementation, the Box for Outlook feature also includes a simplified process for including file sharing links from Box in your Outlook messages. 

What is Changing? 

The add-ins panel within Outlook is changing slightly to include the Box for Outlook icon. Once you have selected the icon and authenticated your account, you will be able to leverage the feature within your work as UCSF. 

What do I need to do? 

If you utilize Box and Outlook in your work at UCSF, it is recommended that you test the feature the next time you receive an important message or attachment from a colleague or stakeholder to save this information directly to Box from Outlook.
