To assist with UCSF's commitment to digital accessibility, UCSF IT and Brand Identity have created and provided digitally accessible templates within the Microsoft applications that you use in your work. The use of these templates will ensure that your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations are digital accessible and can utilized by all your colleagues and stakeholders without issue.
What is Changing?
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel will provide access to templates developed by the UCSF Brand Identity team that are digitally accessible. This will ensure that those individuals with disabilities can engage with the content developed within these applications. These digitally accessible templates will be available within the following applications:
| Application | Supported |
|---|---|
| Word (Desktop) | Yes |
| Excel (Desktop) | Yes |
| PowerPoint (Desktop) | Yes |
| PowerPoint for the Web | Yes |
| Word for the Web | No |
| Excel for the Web | No |
What do I need to do?
Users are encouraged to utilize UCSF templates in their work with colleagues or when representing UCSF with external stakeholders. For more assistance with accessing and using these templates, refer to the Microsoft 365: UCSF Templates page.
