The UCSF IT Collaboration Team is rolling out two new digital tools to enhance your work experience at UCSF in late April: Grammarly and NameCoach.
Grammarly is a writing assistance tool that reviews spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Other Grammarly features include plagiarism- and essay-checking tools, a citation generator and tone detector, style guides, and more. Grammarly can be used with email and across multiple desktop applications and Google Chrome.
Beginning April 23rd, Grammarly will send an automated email with an enrollment link to learners and 100% FTEs not on the IT Field Services exemption list. Those in exempt roles and anyone else who doesn’t receive an enrollment link by May 2nd may request one by opening a ticket with the Collaboration Services team.
NameCoach is an audio tool to aid with name pronunciation. On April 30th, all users with active UCSF email accounts will see the NameCoach add-in automatically populate in the apps section of their Outlook toolbar in both the web and desktop client.
