How Do I Configure "Theme" and "Layout" in the New Teams?

The upgrade to the New Teams has reset your Theme and Layout preferences. The following steps will assist you with the process of configuring the New Microsoft Teams to your preferences.

Configuring Theme and Layout in New Microsoft Teams

  1. Open the New Teams application for desktop or web
  2. Select the ... option at the top, then Settings
  3. Locate and select the Appearance and Accessibility option, then click the drop-down menu under Theme to choose your Theme preference (Follow operating system theme, Light, Dark, Classic, or High contrast)
  4. Under the Layout heading, choose Grid or List view

    NOTE: There are some icon changes in the News Teams as well: The Files icon in the left-hand menu is now labeled OneDrive, and the Contacts icon is now the People icon.
