If you prefer not to use Web Services Managed Hosting, you can set up a web server either outside the UCSF network or at UCSF. It's quite a complex process.
- Do you need a consultation? (IT Consultation Request)
- Do you need a server? (Use either our Enterprise Cloud Services or UCSF Data Center)
- Do you need assistance setting up server? (Contact UCSF Data Center)
- Do you need assistance with on going patching? (Contact UCSF Data Center)
- Does your site meet UCSF security standards?
- Does your site meet UCSF privacy standards?
- Does your site meet UCSF accessibility standards?
- Does your site meet UCSF design standards?
- Make a Domain Name Request (Domain Name Service (DNS) Request)
- Make a TLS Certificate Request Request. You will need a to generate a .crt file on your server. (If you cannot do that contact your server administrator).
- Do you need to make this site available outside of UCSF? (Firewall and VPN Request)
