    Box Resource Account

A resource account allows you to add collaborators and data to it. This eliminates concern about losing the data if any individual collaborator leaves UCSF.A resource account can be created for your group. However, for security reasons, you will not be able to log into the resource account itself.

    Box: CipherCloud (.ccsecure) Encryption

Secure Box allows UCSF Box users to store restricted data while protecting UCSF and our patients, staff and learners from data loss.We launched CipherCloud on Monday, October 3, 2016. In November 2016 we began scanning files that were already on Box. Note: We are only scanning for UCSF PHI. We are not scanning multimedia formats (e.g., image, video, audio files, scanned PDFs) or files over 400MB.With the implementation of CipherCloud, UCSF Box users will see the following changes.

    Tracking Envelopes in DocuSign

When you receive a document to be signed, the email notification shows only the name of the original sender. If, for example, you are number 3 out of 6 in the routing order, the name of the sender in the email notification is the initial sender, not the person who was second in the routing order. To view the full routing status, you must log into DocuSign after you have finished signing. When you are done signing, a "You have completed your documents" window will appear. Click Login.
