Upgrade to Windows 11
Starting in November 2024, IT will begin upgrading all ITFS-managed Windows computers to Windows 11. This upgrade takes 30-60 minutes of computer downtime and will provide optimized performance and enhanced security. Users have the option to upgrade their workstations as a self-service installation, using the steps below at a time that is convenient for them. Creating the Initial Password for your UCSF Account
The UCSF Password Management Tool will assist you with creating the password for your UCSF account. Once you have received an email with your UCSF account information (UCSF ID and email address), select the link in the email to activate your UCSF account and begin the password change process.
Activating Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for ITFS-Supported Users
As of Tuesday, September 26, 2023, IT Field Services (ITFS) is distributing upgrade notifications to all ITFS-managed Macs with Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 installed, starting with Macs. Alternatively, you may also click here, if your Mac is properly enrolled and managed by UCSF IT, to manually download and install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from our Jamf Self Service app portal.
