How to access

Everyone with an active UCSF email address has access to Polls in the web version of Microsoft Outlook.

Description

Outlook Polls is a feature in Microsoft Outlook that lets you create an instant, real-time poll in an email message. Within the body of your Outlook message, add questions and options (e.g., single or multiple answers) to request feedback or responses from recipients. Once the message is sent, the recipients can respond directly or in the browser via the poll link. Responses can be reviewed either in the message or in Microsoft Forms.

Benefits

  • Improve Efficiency - Outlook Polls can reduce decision-making time to make decisions by eliminating the number of emails required to reach an agreement with stakeholders on questions or scheduling.
  • Simplified Sharing - Outlook Polls can be shared with recipients in Outlook, in chats, or in a Loop workspace.
  • Increased Participation - Engagement with recipients is increased as users can participate in the poll directly within an Outlook message.
