Description

Assignments in Teams allow educators to assign tasks, work, or quizzes to their learners. Educators can manage assignment timelines, instructions, add resources to turn in, grade with rubrics, and more. They can also track class and individual learner progress in the Grades tab.

Benefits

  • Assign tasks, work, or quizzes within Microsoft Teams: Educators can manage assignment timelines, instructions, add resources to turn in, and grade assignments with rubrics.
  • Manage and track progress: Instructors can monitor class and individual learner progress within the Grades tab.
  • Manage and submit assignments anywhere:  In Assignments mobile, teachers can create and review assignments, while learners can attach and turn in their work.

Support

For questions and support, check the Frequently Asked Questions page or submit a ticket on our Employee Self-Service Portal. You can also chat with other Office 365 users at UCSF on the Office 365 Team (open to anyone at UCSF - use the join code 7me7twx).

Training

Class teams have unique permissions and features for teachers and learners. As owners of the team, teachers assign work, share class content, start meetings, and control who can post in the team. Each class team is also linked to its own OneNote Class Notebook. Learn more about Assignments in Teams.
