Teams and Channels

A team is a group of people gathered to get something big done in your organization or the whole organization itself.

Teams are made up of channels, which are the conversations you have with your teammates. Each channel is dedicated to a specific topic, department, or project. Learn more about Teams and Channels.

Call and Meeting Tools

You can make calls to other Teams users or host meetings with Teams. As dial-in is not enabled for Teams meetings, we recommend using Zoom for most meetings. Learn more about using Zoom within Teams.

NOTE: To comply with HIPAA, UCSF does not currently permit recordings of meetings in Microsoft Teams.
