How to Request Access

Everyone with an UCSF email address has access to SharePoint. SharePoint can be accessed directly at Sharepoint.com or from the app launcher (e.g. Waffleicon) in Microsoft  365. Each Team in Microsoft Teams has an associated SharePoint site, which can be accessed by selecting the Files tab in a Teams channel and then clicking the Open in SharePoint button.

NOTE: SharePoint sites associated with a Team (in Microsoft Teams) are created automatically when the Team is created automatically, and it acts as the storage location for all your files within MS Teams.

Description

Within Microsoft 365, SharePoint provides a robust platform for creating collaborative websites to share content with colleagues and other internal stakeholders.
