If you use a UCSF Windows machine in one of these scenarios:- Off-campus and using GlobalProtect VPN- Use mainly the UCSF WPA wireless on-campus i.e. Not connected to an ethernet cable connection (directly or via a docking station) on-campus oftenChanging your login password via the Password Management Tool will not apply your new password to your machine automatically. You will have to use your previous password to log into the computer.To update the password on the computer, please follow these steps:

Click the Start Menu and type/search for "Wi-Fi Settings" and hit Enter.   Click on the Manage Known Networks link.
