Follow the steps below or review this video on how to terminate or reactivate non-employees.
Non-Employee Manual Termination
From the MyAffiliate dashboard, select the Person tab.
- Navigate to and select the non-employee profile to be updated.
From the non-employee's profile, select the Affiliation Service Information tab.
On the Affiliation Service Information Mapping screen, select Non-Employee Existing Affiliation Service Information Update.
- Update the End Date field to today’s date, then click Submit.
NOTE: The end date for all active affiliations will need to be updated to today’s date. All affiliations must end for a profile to become inactive. - The request will then be sent to the Identity Sponsor for review and approval if you are an onboarding administrator or collaborator. If you are the identity Sponsor, then the request will be processed automatically.
Non-Employee Reactivations
From the dashboard, click Profiles on the left navigation menu.
- On the Profiles page, verify that the following are set:
- Profile Type drop-down is populated with Person.
Inactive button above the search results is selected
- Select the non-employee profile to be reactivated.
On the non-employee profile, click Non-Employee Reactivation – Clinical or Non-Employee Reactivation – Non-Clinical.
NOTE: For Clinical non-employees, after the applicable Non-Employee Reactivation page loads, click Non-Employee Type and select the Service Area from the drop-down menu before clicking Submit.
- On the Non-Employee Reactivation-Clinical page, click the Non-Employee Type. Then click the applicable Service Area from the drop-down menu. Next, click Submit.
- Once all required fields in the form have been populated, click Submit.
- The request will then be sent to the Identity Sponsor for review and approval if you are an onboarding administrator or collaborator. If you are the identity Sponsor, then the request will be processed automatically.
